I couldn't find my build thread but I wanted to share an update on this bad boy. It's been running on the tank since day one and right at the end of the cycle it started to build up algae. It took off in a matter of 2 weeks and is now overgrown. So far very cool and seems to be working.

Hahahha I read that wrong. The algae scrubber uses red leds, 4 strips with about 6 to 8 leds per strip.

I️ was thinking I️ would never get good algae growth because I️ am not buying 2 radion pros for my scrubber. Lol. Thanks Angler. I️ will search for the red led strips.
