Rainbow BTA Crisis... please Help!

If it doesn't smell it's not dead. It doesn't sound good though that it let go easily. So it's not splitting right? I think at this point I would try the Cipro treatment and see if that doesn't help.
 
My first rbta had a few tentacles shrivel up and fall off. Been a happy camper until today, it moved into a cave and split then came back out all withing 4 hours. My second bta never closes it's mouth when the lights are on. Before the lights come on and at night it shrinks down (it's foot is on the underside of a rock). It always takes food and looks completely happy but it's mouth is open all the time, nothing coming out.

Thanks, I'll read the sticky and look into it.
 
did you catch in time to avoid any other problems with decomposing? it was a pretty one for sure. better luck with the next one!
 
When i got my rainbow he run under the rocks for a couple of weeks before he come out.. just give him time i was all scared as u r as long as he is inflated and not closed up u should good.. it took my about 3 week to come out.. and the funny thing is it likes high flow..
