Rainwater

anybody collecting rainwater for use with FO or reef tanks?
Why?
How are you filtering it?
or is it simply not worth the effort?

Not sure, but IMO, I'd say not worth the effort.....any chemicals sprayed locally could be in the air while the rain falls and collect on the drops...

I have wondered about this too.....

Too much acid in rain nowadays. Your PH would go crazy.

our rainwater may be loaded with phosphates and silicates, but is it acidic, what is the pH?
