Raising Clowns

I have a pair of Booyahs onyx clowns. How long does it take for them to become "full grown"? My last set of clowns (not Onyx) were Ocellaris. They didn't get anywhere near the size the web sites say they do. I had them for 2+ years. I feed them a couple of pellets a day. Same as my last pair.

really depends on how often you ffed them, and water quality also plays a big part in getting bigger.... i feed my clown pairs all 3-4 times daily... of coarse i have good filtration and alot of liverock to keep up.... main thing is turn off all pumps and just feed what they can eat, after you see them not eating anymore just stop.. i also feed 4 different foods, spirulina brine, pellets, formula1 flake and frozen cyclopeeze... and they are fat butts lol...

I know patience is the key. I just worry about the kids not getting enough to eat. I was guessing if they are not growing they must be eating enough. Just worried thats all.

My females spawn at about 3 years. Males are good to go at 8 months.A couple of pellets a day is nowhere near enough food for percs. My breeding pairs eat around 100, 1 mm pellets per day, plus several other foods..... pics? Booyah

These are the only 2 fish in a 75g tank. Will a feeding regimen like that be an over load on the system?

^^^if you have a good skimmer and alot of liverock your perimeters should be in check,, i two feed lots of foods in one day.. i feed in the morning,at lunch, mid evening and at 10pm.. i feed, pellets, spirulina brine, formula 1 flake and cyclopeeze.. it takes time but they will grow... i have some beasts in my 40 breeder... lol good luck..
