Which model of ranco controllers are saltwater safe and can be used for controlling a Chiller?

(i ask about saltwater safe because i dont want a copper probe or lead, and dont want the probe to oxidize or corrode.
thanks)

I believe all their controllers are fine. You will just have to put a shrink wrap tube around any part of the probe that will be submerged.

If they do I'm not aware of it. But I don't have a lot of experience with them. I purchased mine from ETC Supply. You can just buy the controller, or they can prewire it and/or put shrink wrap on the temperature probe. I was very happy with their customer service; very responsive to my e-mails.

I am no expert either, but for saltwater use you want the coated probe. At least when I was shopping there wasn't a stock reef safe one. Bought mine used six months ago and has worked flawlessly. If you get the dual stage it can control your total temp control(heating and cooling)

you have to ask for the titanium probe upgrade, they don't come standard on them. I beleive marine depot has them.
