Random storm function?

Is there any way to have a random storm function
(Possible programing change.)

Where the storms come through at random times.

Having a storm everyday at the same time, same duration,
and same intensity is a little too predictable.

Being to random the # of storms say 1-4, the intensity (selectable
lower and Higher limits) and duration would be a slick feature.

Thank you

yes, you are right

about 800 different adjustable options are not enough, we should add some more functions. And the last firmware update is 14 days old - it's time for a new update.

-> I like the idea and I think i will have programmed this in some days

Just keeping you on your toes matthias, 800? we need to hit the 1,000.

But I think this would be a good feature, as Lorin says, getting close to natural simulation is the goal.

Is there anyway to have it shut off the lights during a storm during the day? Then have it wait about an half hour before turning the MH back on? I've been searching for a way to do storms during the day but actualy be able to see them.

The way it is now should be fairly simple.

Edit your illumination to have the the MH lights to go
off at say 1:00pm and then back on-again say 1:30 PM

Then setup a storm to start at 1:00pm and run for 20 minutes,
then a second storm for 10 minutes (since the max is 20 minutes)

Then you could even get fancier with the red and blue lights
to get purple skies etc (assuming you have the simu-l sticks).

Then after the 30 minutes the storm would end and the MH would come back on.

I will have to program one up this way (chaining them together)
but from the little I played with it so far it should work.

Now I have to program in some cool storms.

Thank you for getting me thinking on this one.
