Wow!!!! That tank has come a long way since I swung by and saw all the plumbing and bags in the tank a while back.

Very good job!!!! Everything looks great!!

Marcy just came by with an awsome Kole Tang and Blonde Naso Tang! They have been acclimated and are in the tank now.

There is some Noori on a clip in there and the Naso has been sniffing around it but hasn't nibbled yet...

The Kole went and hid in the rocks. I've seen it peek out a little bit but it is being pretty timid for now. I'm sure it will be feeling fine by tomorrow evening...

Wow, Randy those shots of the blenny are awesome. Your tank is really looking great. The color mix of the fish blends color everywhere. Glad those two fish are settled in. I definitely want to bring my husband over to see the tank. Marcye

Hey Randy, we aren't allowed to have an URL in our signature line.
Bummer - I removed it.

Thanks Marcye! The Kole was swimming around some this morning but still goes back into it's cave when I come up to the tank. Later this morning I'm going to feed some nori flake and spirulina flake soaked in zoa. Hopefully the newcomers will be interested...

The Naso seemed to be very interested in the Nori sheet on the clip last night, but I don't know if it actually ate any or not.

Any way to determine sex of those fish? So far the only fish I know the sex of for sure are the Mandarins (one of each) and I think that the Elegant Coris Wrasse is a female.

Well, they are still pretty shy, especially the Kole. I am leaving the camera hanging on the tank to try to "acclimate" them to it. Here are the best two shots I got, out of about two dozen (pathetic...)

The yellow coris on the other hand is a total camera hog!

So far mine seems to be doing well. It eats nori like a pig. I take a piece and lay it on a plate, drop some kent zoa vitamins on it and let it soak in, then clip it in the tank. The rabbit totally tears into it. Also is eating meaty foods. How big was yours when you got it? Mine isn't too big yet.

I'm a little concerned about the Naso and the Kole. The Naso is really thin and niether of them seem to be showing much interest in veggie or meaty foods. I sure hope they come around.

Nice looking fish Randy... I'm sure it makes the tank look a whole lot more dynamic and alive to have all those new guys in there!

I haven't been able to get any of my tangs to eat Nori in the main tank; they're afraid of the little mount I made for it. Still gotta get a clip.

Thanks Tyler, you are right about the tank - really comes alive with some stuff swimming around in there! So what do your Tangs like best for food?

I got some pretty nice pictures of the Kole and some others this evening. MH were off so these are with the flash.

The first two have the Kole Tang with the Naso Tang in the background. The second picture gives you an idea how skinny the Naso is. We have decided to name the Naso "Kate Moss". We haven't named the Kole Tang yet.

And a few more of the Kole Tang - I am very excited about this fish! I sure hope he starts eating better. He is constantly scraping the rock but there just isn't any algae on the rock except one certain spot (which he manages to not find somehow  )

And that last picture is a good segue into a couple of pictures of the Elegant Coris Wrasse

And finally, yet another picture of the Snowflake Blenny!

Thanks - It is 6 ft long, 2 ft wide and 2 ft high, 180 gallons.

So I saw in another thread that you are going to have a 20' run from your tank to your fish room - is that correct? Is the fish room in the basement?

looks good Randy.try some live brine shrimp for your tangs, mine go crazy when i dump some in the tank.glad you found some rock,i can't make it up that way for awhile.

Randy,

Lol. Kate Moss, that's priceless!

My tangs go nuts for the 4-flake mix I feed, the cyclopeeze and the spirulina pellets.

I'll have to try a clip and see if I can get them to eat the nori once again.

BTW, awesome pic of the snowflake blenny; it really brings out the "snowflakiness"!

the fishroom will be in the garage, same floor but down about 6 inchs (floor level to floor level)

I have a Pan World 200 PS that I will be using as a return.

I would suggest you soak the food in Garlic drops, then add it to the tank with the sump pump turned off. Formula One or Two in pellet form might work with your tanks, and nori clipped on the glass down low in the tank should help as well.

I do hope you can fatten them up soon.
