Doe this look the same as your? I thaught it was aa undata, when I bought it it was completly brown also:

That does look the same as the confusa that I have. I looked at the first five or so google searches for Montipora Confusa, and all but one looked totally different than ours. The only one that looked like ours was the Australian Institute of Marine Science page. I'm guessing that theirs is the real deal, and ours both look like theirs. Noone else's did. http://www2.aims.gov.au/coralsearch/html/401-500/Species pages/458.htm

No. 1 - Joe's Green with Red-Tip Acro (more orange in my tank, Red in his) - no idea of the species, unusual growth pattern though, piece is about 5" in size

No. 2 - Terry's "The Fuscia", most exotic acro I have ever seen... and I have seen a few! Fuscia body, blue tips and white polyps. Very fine branching. Slow/moderate growth. Truely rare. From a wild colony in 2002/2003 I think. Terry has the main colony, I have a small colony, and there is only one other frag out there!

No. 3 - 250's Ruby Red Subulata. Red and tabling. It is a reasonably big colony.

No. 4 - Ponape Rainbow Stag (rosaria)- small colony.

No. 5 - Bali Tri-Colour, have 2 small colonies

can you please tell me the names of those frags, trying to get my Christmas list together EARLY!

Edwin

A nice one :D No idea of the species. It has a great shape though, not a stag, or formosa. From a wild colony in 2003/2004.

I agree,

we're goingto have to kick him out of this thread, lol. NO WAY, 250G, can just keep posting. We'll all just have to drool, change our diapers and bear it, lol.

Thanks for the info 250G, I know now to start saving my duckets.

I'm jealous, of all you guys/gals. I can't get any of those corals right now, UNLESS my new friend in TORONTO, wants to BE NICE and SHARE THE LOVE with a BROTHER in N.J., LOL. And Unarce's stuff if plain old nice, all of you have some top shelf corals. Keep posting, this thread will definitely be one of my favorites and a way for others to buy some great corals. Of course, from one another, we need to leave a lot of corals in the oceans for generations to come.

Hey JGosleee,

hey 250G.... how's it going with all of the "i want frags" and "help me set up my new tank" PMs? .....

.... ahh, the curse of TOTM :)

Well, as it is only day 3 I am still in good spirits and replying to PM's ASAP, I think being in Canada is keeping the numbers lower that would be expected for a TOTM in the US.

At the same time, I was at the Canadian CITES permit office yesterday to try and figure out the process for you crazy die-hards!

Try my best for "help me set up my new tank" PMs as well. Some times they end up buying alot of frags month/years down the road which help pay that monthly water/electricity bill.

Good eye ReefWreak, Confusa is what I would put my money on also, I think the brighter green that is coming out in some tanks is from stronger lighting. Ive only had mione for 3 months and it was completey brown to start and is now getting the neon green to it, I also have it up quite high in tank.

Oranges

Oranges

Ok - who has orange SPS in their tank? Perhaps more rare than a good red, but just as difficult to grade in terms of colour I am guessing.

These 2 are the closest to orange I have.
