Rare fish search

Anyone know of any good rare fish sites aside from live aquaria and top Google hits? Thanks for any feedback

Old Town has a fish selection similar to DD. I always call there first if I'm looking for something particular.

Also I wouldn't put anything"rare" in a new tank. Wait a while first, plan out you stock list accordingly

I've been trying to find places that stock oddballs too. I'm more interested in morays, and almost nowhere seems to have anything beyond the standard snowflakes and zebras. If they do, it's either another Echidna spp. or a fimbriated. The furthest "out there" ones I've seen lately are jeweleds, whitemouths, gdms and goldentails.

LA/DD used to have a lot of Caribbean/Atlantic species this time of year but now they hardly have anything in that vein, and everywhere else is even worse.

Then again I haven't paid much attention to the fish world for the last 4 years or so, so I have no idea what developments might be affecting this.

Outside of the Golden Dwarf, that pretty much always means a high-yellow to banana Gymnothorax miliaris. I happen to like that species a lot, so much so that I have one of my own.

I don't know that 2 in the same tank is a good idea, though.
