I asked that question way back when, and that is an issue. However as it is setup the last person gets first pick at the corals that are out, so while they might not get EXACTLY what they want, they do get first pick of everything else that's out there. So looking back through the list, this is setup so that people bring TWO of what is requested, so that you request oregon tort, two get brought by the next person, one goes directly to you, one goes into the general pick. So there's plenty of stuff out there to choose from all of which is nice.
Now is it possible for that person to go "well screw you guys I'm not doing this if I don't get my LE Triple Edition NeoMega Acro Literally Only One In Existance Auction Edition coral" then fine, he's out and the person who was next to last has the opportunity to accept something Charles can scrape up and they get first pick instead. I think if anything someone not flaking would hurt more, but if there are enough people that don't care THAT much, then should be no problem, e.g. if the person who was giving me something flakes out, no biggy I'll work something out with the person who was going to give that person something (maybe even so far as to take what they were going to have) and be happy with it. But then again I'm not exactly picky on my list of things, keep it non-brown and something I don't have, and I'm usually happy

I would only hope that the last person in line would not be so selfish and self centered as to "break the entire chain" out of such pettyness, but then again that is just me . And as it stands it looks like I will be the last one in line (collapsing into the 1st string to fill one of wongkwp's requests) and I already know that I would not sabotage the swap and throw away everyone's hard work just for a single coral, so there is no need to worry about the "integrity" of the chain or the swap. 
And as Mike pointed out, even if Charles has nothing I want, I know that we will end up with at least 2 very sweet corals out of the deal, plus the chance to help out and be part of the Reefing community here
That or I will just take the coral that Charles requested... what was it ? the Fire Engine Monti ? Then again you may end up seeing Charles washing our car every other weekend for the next couple of months

Qwiv, I think you're underestimating the willingness of these reefers to have something really good happen here. It's much of what our club is based on.
We all want to make it better for us all. You see it in our volunteer participation at BAR swaps. You see it in our DBTC program. You see it in the eagerness to spread around corals that are never even seen in other parts of the country.
These people want this swap to be a success. At this stage, I don't think I could stop them even if I wanted to. For that matter, I don't think I even have to be there for this to succeed. Do you think that if I called this off, Mike, Tom, Norman, Paul, Kenzo and/or others wouldn't just meet somewhere else and do it without me?
I can't think of a greater sign of success.
Everyone who is not already in the swap has until 9pm to be accepted. Then the last person will work with me to get something they want or take the Fire Engine Monti.
Whatever it is, I will post it here for you and everyone else to see. you can decide for yourself if it's Rare To You. But I suspect it won't matter at all to any of the people who are there on 4/28.
