Rarities underwater

i heard the genicanthus was not new? luiz can you confirm?

i do know brian had a new plectranthias species, and caught some really cool fish like Chromis alpha.

Boy, the news travel fast! You are right, the Genicanthus was a hiccup, just an odd looking G. lamarcki. As far as new species goes, so far we (and by we I mean mostly Brian Greene and Rich Pyle) collected new ones of the following genera: Cirrhilabrus, Plectranthias, Suezichthys and Liopropoma. Unfortunately, I can't post pictures of those before we describe them, but here is a deep anthias that I photographed today to keep you guys busy trying to ID it:

A new cirrhilabrus!!!! Super super exciting!

And that's a gorgeous Pseudanthias! I'm guessing hutomoi. But looks like cichlops?

Any update?
What was the new Suezichthys?
How often is the male Suezichthys cyanolaemus found?
Was it the hutomoi anthias?

Luiz, what an amazing career you have and thank you most of all for sharing it so we can live vicariously through your excursions.

I do have one request. Do you have any pictures of a male Paracheilinus mccoskeri? I'd love to see one in the wild.

Thank you again, David

Is that a normal lemonpeel?

Sorry for bad pic
