Rasberry mille.

While I'd like to take the high road too, I have indeed been eyeballing this particular coral for a very long time. I have just introduced several SPS frags into my tank recently and the small piece of this would fit right in with the rest of the frags and hopefully all grow in together. So, I'd like to stay on the short list of potential buyers.

i will make it easy

as always, i will bow to someone more experienced's advice. but if not this frag, where would i start?

Suggest a montipora capricornis or montipora digitata. Possibly a green slimer. Guess I'll let the even more experience suggest further. I've been keeping my monti caps alive and growing for almost a year though, and the recent frags I've gotten are all polyping out nicely and show growth on the tips. I'm dripping kalk finally and keeping a close eye on my levels, partially with the help of my AC jr with pH probe. Just tested my nitrates about an hour ago and they were at zero or dang close...I couldn't see anything registering. Anyway, I would personally recommend the monti cap as something to start with and see how it does.

well good thing i won an orange monti at the frag swap.
he seems to be doing nicely. time will tell. thanks guys!

Are the bags with water and the dead frags on page 2 the ones that this thread is about? If so, that is why they all died in that bag. You can't put a bunch of free floating frags in a bag and allow them all to touch each other and expect them to live.
