Rattling 6000 Stream

I have (2) 6000 streams with a multi controller. One stream is quiet, one rattles when the output is anything over the minimum. The higher the output, the louder the rattle.

I started using them the very beginning of November and they were purchased new. The rattling started in the one about two weeks ago. The mate to it is fine (jinx / so far). They were both thoroughly cleaned yesterday, but this had no effect on the rattley one. I'm guessing it's the impeller, but there aren't any adjustments for that?

Can you check through the parts using the sticky at the top of the forum on cleaning? This rattling could be caused by many things, the magnetic rotor may have a piece of plastic left over from casting that could just be trimmed off or it could be a brake shoe is damaged. Also, a drive unit for a 6000 has a small rubber o ring under the shaft, where it hits the magnet, if debris is inside their this could jam the magnets in an out position and make some noise. Check that brakes move smoothly in and out and stop and don't just fall out. You should feel resistance and then they will fall out with a firm twist further.
