Razor/scraper mod from last nights meeting

I made one of these today. I think this is the single best DIY mod that I have tried in 2 years in the hobby. This is going to make scraping my glass/coraline cleanup simple. It used to take me an hour or more for a complete glass cleaning. I bet now it will take less than 10 minutes. It complete removes everything in one pass!!!!

Thanks Zooqi !!!!!

If you didn't make it to the meeting here is the modification:

I ended up buy three thinking I would ruin the first two but I actually did it correct the first time.

One note, zooqi said to use a towel or something when you press the heated scraper onto the magfloat, but be sure to use something other than a terry/bath type towel. The towel fibers ended up getting stuck in the melted plastic. On his site he recommends a piece of ceramic tile which I think would work better. A shop type towel would probably have worked good.

Just be a man and use your hand. Make me one while your at it :)

Sure!

I have some extra scrapers, but no extra magfloat.

haha, I'm happy to know that the lecture was useful and some of you got to make a scrapers that will make the job easy. I put a tile on there so people don't use a piece of paper or something that can burn through. I use my house kitchen gloves (mittens spl?). ... I don't let it melt alot and I heat it to where is soft but not milty (nice word). Thanks to PMAS club and members for having me as a speaker. Also would like to thank you guys to for the dinner. You guys sure make the speaker special with your kindness. Thanks again.
