Thinking of buying a large 8" RBTA for my 75 gallon FOWLR.
Concern is for the care and survival of it.
I have a mated pair if Clowns that would love this thing.
My water conditions are good except Nitrates.
They are running around 80.
I have done water changes, tryed Nitrate sponges, etc, etc... cannot get them down.
So I think the problem is too much bio load... so I am upgrading to a 125 gal in next couple weeks.
So I am wondering if I get this RBTA right now (as it will not be around for long at this price) and put it in my current 75 gal with the high nitrates.... will this kill it?
I know that they are the hardiest of the anemones...
BTW...
75 gal FOWLR
about 70# of live rock
yellow tang, coral beauty, 2 cromiis, klein butterfly and small snowflake eel.
all fish are less than 3" in size.
ASM G1x skimmer in a 20 gallon sump
Aquarclear 110 filter
2 Hydor #4 powerheads
