RBTA/GBTA Won't Eat

I have 2 tanks, each with a RBTA & a GBTA. They have been in there for months but will not eat. I've tried Silver Sides, Clam, Formula #2, Squid, etc.. They just end up spitting it out. I've made the pieces very small & it doesn;t matter.

All 4 of them are very healthy, good coloring, puff up all bulbly..

What brand of shrimp/scallops do you use? Frozen? freeze dried? Size of pieces?

Thanks..

Well no worries since they don't need to eat anyway. They will live fine off light alone. The only reason I have ever heard for actually feeding them is making them split more often. But I don't know if it is true. I keep my RBTAs under either PC or normal flour. and have had no issues, just anemones that keep getting bigger! As long as they are happy, don't stress on the food.

Feed them, light doesnt give them all the nutrients they need for long term success. That is kinda weird though, go to an asain market and grab just random seafood objects and see what works.

i went crazy worrying about feeding mine till it split into 3 and one died..................i feed em now maybe once every 6 months..................if you can get a clown to host that will make em happy

i get mine from the seafood section at the store.. i thaw it and tear it into pieces and feed 1-3x a week

Just buy a lb of frozen fresh shrimp, thaw and peel one, soak in selcon or selco, tear of small piece and feed.

In one tank, 2 GSM's host in them, and my other tank 2 Percula Clowns host in them. They alternate from Rose to Green BTA's. They also don't attempt to feed any of the anemones. When i've tried feeding the anemone, they fin it away. I've even tried disctracting them with my hand or food. Either way the anemones don't feed, besides the pellet food & marine snow, etc i put in the tank..

I'm gonna try some scallops & shrimp & see if that works..If not i'll just leave them alone.

Thanks for all your help..
