Rbta growth

I just recently got a Rbta from a fellow reefer just curious how to get it to grow faster as its little bigger than a quarter got good color just small any advice would be great I feed 3x a week right now with mysis

Keep feeding mysis as you are, and when he reaches about 1-1/2 to 2 inches start feeding him about 1/3 of a silverside every few days. That is what I did, mine started about 2 inches fully open and within 8 months is now 7-9 inches across fully open.

shes soo cute! i saw a really small rbta as well at my lfs, and i so wanted to buy but they are so expensive even at that small size...

There is a guy who is local his split like crazy he has appx 40 Rbta in his tank

I only fed mine a squirt of mysis once a week,the rest they caught what ever got in their tentecles.Some rbtas will get about 6'' to 8'' across and split often,then there is some that will get big 12'' to 14'' across and split less often.I had one that was 14'' across and only split once in the 2 years I had it.

I feed mine mysis a few times a week and it has grown well

I purchased 1 5 years ago and have sold many clones. My anemones have really slowed down on splitting. Last split was almost 2 years ago and one anemone split into 3. Sence that split they have grown rapidly. All 3 are well over 12" in diameter . I do not feed the anemones. they are 16" or so under 400w halides. They are beautiful animals, but can grow very large. I even had one move into a powerhead and lost all of its tenticals down to the base, within 3 months you could not even tell the accident happened.
