RBTA Hiding for over a month

I know that it's not uncommon for these guys to move around...however, mine moved to the back of the tank (took it's 2 pink anemonefish with it!) and has been there over a month, possibly 6-7 weeks...

I'm a little concerned as it is difficult if not impossible to feed and it is starting to look a little bleached from what little of it I can see.

I don't *think* it split or is splitting, but I really can't tell because of it's location.

I normally feed key west raw shrimp in small pieces. (note: my bristeworms are getting quite chunky with it being so difficult to feed). I have tried not trying to target feed it for almost a week. It still didn't budge.

My water parameters have not changed and I have not added anything new to the tank in a long time.

ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS??

Should I try to rearrange the corals/liverock to put it back where it can actually get light and get fed? Thanks in advance!

If you can just turn the rock its attached to towards the front that would be the way to go. A word of warning though, be prepared for a fish attack. It can be startling so don't drop the rock at first nip. Clowns can be visous and protective.

BUMP!!

Thanks! I appreciate your help and advice!! And thanks for the warning about the possible fish attack!! I do have a sailfin tang in there too that is quite protective and has already attacked me. Plus, I have a foxface rabbitfish that could require an ER trip if it gets me!! LOL!! Not sure how both the pairs of anemonefish will be... Ok. Now I'm a little worried!

I was considering that, but of course, the nem is attached to a rock that it on the bottom of the pile and the biggest rock in the tank. It will require moving multiple rocks and corals. I wasn't sure if this would stress things out more. Plus, I would have to rearrange all the rocks in order for that particular rock to be facing "front" and getting light.

Do you still think I should try? I am really worried...

Anyone else too?!

Honestly...I'd change up your flow a little bit to see if you can get it to move somewhere more ideal.

Thank you!!! I think I'll try that first since the other would be a huge undertaking!!

I'm assuming that you are thinking to direct the flow in the direction of the nem? Am I correct in my thinking?
