RBTA....hiding in rock crevice

I have a RBTA that I got about 1 month ago, it came on a piece of LR but was in pretty rough shape. The foot was healthy looking but the lil guy had only 1 tenticle. I have been feeding it silversides and fresh mussells and it was really doing well. Tips had devoloped a beautiful fluorescent orange colour and it had many arms and puffed up quite large.a couple of days ago it decided to move and placed itself into a crevice in the rock. It still opens and reaches for the light during light cycle but it completely deflates and the tenticles get short and stringy as soon as the mh go off. Any thoughts.??
Tank perams are 75 g (20" deep) 2 x 250w radius 20k. 2 x 96w cf as supplemental lighting. I use 4 x koralia 4 for flow and a mag9 return ( lots a movement)". Ni, NA, PO all 0, ph8.3, ca 460,ka 8, temp 75 - 77.
Should I attempt to shuffle it along or let it be?

Let it be. Sounds like its coming along ... keep feeding and it'll recover just fine. Mine are healthy and big and they both retract under the rocks when the lights go out. I don't recommend feeding silversides though; some have reported problems from feeding silversides. Shrimp, mussels, krill are all good to feed. Keep the pieces small.

Mine has been shrinking and getting skinny tentacles most nights in the 8 months I've had him... much to the chagrin of the pair of clowns that use it as a bed. It has since split and is growing like a weed.

I am coming to the conclusion that I have way too much flow for the RBTA !! 75G with 4 x Korolia 4's (4 x 1200gph) and a MAG 12 return pump....this equates to a max turnover of about 80 x. With that being said all of the PH flow is driven off of the rock and glass so it is as random as possible. My SPS, clams love this however I think this lil guy is looking for shelter.....My LPS all seem to have adapted. My Xenia have grown very thick stems and now pulse even in the flow. Leathers have grown huge and devils hand also have stems that are 3 - 4 " thick...The RBTA has gone to an area of low flow and joined my Acans, Bubbles etc.....Can I assume that he is OK where he is ? The only other alternative is to either lower the flow or send him packing ?

They'll get over it. I have 2 MP40wES running at full blast and an Eheim 1262 in my 75g and all of the BTAs are all out and happy.
