RBTA hiding?

This is my first anenome and since I've got him home from the LFS he has moved to the backside of one of my rocks......is this due to the intense lighting compared to the LFS? I've got dimmable capabilities, which I've done, so is this normal behavior and how long should I expect this before I should be concerned?

Parameters are all 0, pH 7.9-8

Thanks

I've got one that was moved from very low light to a tank with lots of light and it crawled under a rock the next day. So far it's been there 6 days and it's about a third of the way back out. So give it some time.

I put LED's in my tank 3 weeks ago. My RBTA immediately went into hiding and made its way from one side of my 90-gal to the other over the course of a week and a half. It was in one spot for months, then once I changed the lights, it decided on an equally high spot on the rocks, but on the other side of my tank. That is one bad thing about nem's and you have to be careful. Luckily I had all of my SPS on a frag rack in anticipation of the movement. Give it time and it'll find a spot it likes...

I am in the same boat you are. New nem hiding from me. He is behind my rocks towards the back of my tank, i can barely see him. He has his foot in the shade, and is stretching his disc out to reach the light. He came from MHs i think 1 could have been 180 or 220, and i have 4x54 t5s.

Pictar!

He is kind of folded on his side a little bit because this was after target feeding him a little tiny i dunno 1/4 of an inch piece of a silverside. He is maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inches across when he is fully stretched out. This is the only way i can see him right now, i even had to use the mirror to target feed him. I had to buy him from the store he was in a little display better used for frags, really short. Right up against a Haddon carpet getting his butt kicked.

This was him minutes after putting him in my tank.

Yeah here's my little refugee. This guy broke down his tank and found him in the overflow!

Day 6 of acclimation, right before feeding time.
He's gonna need a lot of love to get used to my 250w MH but at least he's right up front.

when they are pink like that they are sick
he's not happy about something, possibly lack of light

Yea like I said, he came from another tank out of the overflow. The tank was drained before the owner found it in there, and I rescued it to a much better setup, but its only been here a week today.
