RBTA in a 29 gal?

I have been wanting a red bubble tip for some time now, and was curious if one would be right for my tank.

My tank is a standard 29gal with a 20gal sump.
I have a 3 inch sandbed and 35lbs of LR.
I have 2 ocellaris clowns and a sixline wrasse.
My corals are mainly zoanthids, ricordias, and hairy mushrooms.
I also have a frogspawn and a devils hand.
As far as cleanup I have about 8 hermits and 6 astrea snails and 2 turbos.

My tank has been up for about 5 months now.

I would like to know if this is a good environment for an RBTA? What kind of things I would have to consider for keeping it from killing my corals? And last what kind of care for it?

People say you should wait till about a year or so (some say 6months) before attempting an RBTA. Your tank can handle it. I have most of what you listed in my 20g and an rbta. My first go round was not sucessful, the rbta found its way into the HOB fuge I had ont he tank. This second go round there was nothing for him to get into. The only powerhead in the tank was a seio which is very far off the rocks etc, so the chance of him getting into it and sucked in it is very small. Other than that you should know that anemones do travel. You cannot superglue anemones etc, they will find a spot they like on their own. For this reason it is a dangerous thing when adding one to the tank. If you monitor it closely for the first few days, assuming that all the time he takes to move around, then you should be able to move corals out of his way before he stings them to death. As far as care, feeding of silversides once every other day is prefered. That along with good water quality should keep your anemone healthy.

Yes it will do great in that size tank. But I would wait another few months before introducing one.
