RBTA in Trouble?

I was hoping someone could give me some advice on my RBTA.
I've had it for almost a year now and it has always seemed healthy and happy. About 2 weeks ago I started feeding it more frequently then before and now it has a large whiteish lump near its mouth. The lump is usually about the size of a golf ball but changes size as the anemone inflates and deflates. I wasn't really worried to start with but this lump has been there non stop for a week and a half now.

The anemone still seems health except for the crazy lump, still eats every 2nd or 3rd day when I offer food, still expands to normal (9") size. Nice fat tentacles, not thin or stretched out. It is also hosting 2 true percs, both are small and have been in the tank for about 8 months.

I'll try to get some pics up thursday, I only have internet at work and will have to sneak my camera in to get the pictures on.

I have not seen this before. Since it happened after you changed feeding habbits, what are you feeding, and how big are the portions?

I feed silversides, squid and shrimp. Which one depends on the day I try to feed each at least once a week. The portion size is variable, squid is the smallest it is chopped very small say 1/8" chunks and smaller. the shrimp is whole raw shrimp and I cut about 2 1/4" squares off for the nem. The silversides are the largest and I usually give it 2 1/4" to 1/3" lengths.

Try feeding portions no bigger than the mouth and see if there are any changes. I would do this 2 - 3 times a week.

I don't think any of these portions are bigger then the mouth, Its hard for you to see the mouth in the pics because of the white bubble but the nem is about 8 - 10" across. I'll try reducing the size of the pieces anyways and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice

2 1/4" has to be bigger than the anemone's mouth if the anemone is 8 - 10" across. Is the mouth tightly closed?

I think they meant 2 pieces, 1/4-1/3" each, right? I have kept RBTAs for 10 years and have never seen this. The mouth will swell occasionally. I assume that you feed the tank as well? Maybe you are over feeding. Your nem gets some food from tank feeding. I would cut back to direct feeding once a week and see what happens.

sorry about the confusion I did mean two peices 1/4" to 1/3" each. Yeah 2.25" would be a bit bigger then its mouth, lol! I do feed the tank so maybe it is getting over fed. I never see any food get in it when I feed the tank but I'm also watching the fish more at that point. I'll try reducing the feedings and see what happens. I just don't want my nem to die!

My Crispa does this too but its mouth isn't as swelled up. I don't know why my Crispa does it but it seems healthy nonetheless.

How long does your Crispa normally stay like this. I'm going on 3 weeks now and no change. I dropped the feedings back to what I had been doing, two small chunks of food once a week and It doesn't seem to be effecting the white lump. I'm a little worried that this might be some kind of infection or something.
