well my rbta which has ben staying put for about 6 months, bottom of the tank as far away from the glare of the lights as he could get, decided to walk up to the top left hand corner in the back. All the way up. Only way he gets higher is if he leaves the water. Should I just leave it be, or try to move it back down? It looks fine. And my water is better than it's ever been. So I don't know why the sudden need to travel. Is it maybe going to split? I just don't know anymore...

what kind of lighting do you have? also make sure you have your returns and powerheads covered so it doesnt become shredded beef. have you fed it at all recently?

on a side note i like the ATHF pic

it's a 6x39w T5 ATI PM. It used to hate all the light now it's at the top. Also the feeding hasn't changed in months. I guess it just got bored.

...that pic took forever to find back when I got it years ago....haha....now everyone loves them.

How old are the lights? Did the flow change at all? Were you feeding it? I would leave it alone because you don't want to risk hurting the foot.

the bulbs are about 10-12 months old...but stil quite intense. He goes up at night more but when the lights come on it goes vack down again (intense?). Nothing else has changed. Like I said flow and feeding have been the same...after all this time he decided to go for a walk I guess. :P

I think it finally decided to stop. It's now off the glass and in a rocky nook on my largest rock structure. I hope it stays put now. K)
