RBTA or something else?

Hey all,

Was hunting for RBTA's so I picked up a tiny little one with great color for a steal of a deal fresh after it split off another guy's larger one. He said he kept it under LED's and whatnot. I popped it into my tank and when I put it under a kessil it looked nice, a deep dark red(a little brown) and a dark sort of green closer to the base.

After stuffing it with mysis for a little over a month it's gotten quite a bit bigger and looks different. It seems to have more green taking over from the bottom of the tentacles with some yellow, and then it has what looks like hot pink tips instead of red now.

I tried to get the photo to look as close to what I'm seeing as possible, and I'm wondering is this actually an RBTA at all? I don't know a lot about the other color morphs besides just GBTA, but I've heard there are some fancier (rainbow?) ones and was wondering what your thoughts were.

I've attached a sort of before and after.

This looks like a multi-color anemone I just bought. I've also seen these named orange Starburst. Mine is definitely orange tips with green tentacles.

I considered the idea of a gbta, but the oral disc is still red/orange with those white streaks/speckles (green starts only at base of tentacles) and the green is darker than the fluorescent I usually see in green bubble tips.

I have one very similar to yours... green on the bottom and red up top. A lot of people don't like it because it's not fully red/rose.. but I really dig the color combo.

It looks like a Vietnamese RBTA to me. There was a group of them coming a number of years ago from VN that had iridescent green bases with rose tips. There was a lot of hoopla about them being dyed to fetch a higher price, but turned out that was all natural. Their prices shot through the roof for about.... 3 months and sunk like rocks when everyone realized they were just a GBTA morph with some rose splashed in. Now they're being all "Zoocrazed" with crazy made up names for the same color morph. Rainbow BTA, Galaxy BTA, Super-fun-star BTA... you get the picture.

Mine has the green base / pink tentacles like this as well.
