RBTA prefers krill>

I know as a general rule of thumb, it is best to offer your anemone silver slides or chopped shrimp. Mine is a smaller anemone and while I do offer it small chunks of silver slides, it rarely ever eats them. Instead opting for thawed krill. The green carpet I picked up last week at the LFS pretty much accepts about anything if it is hungry.

I guess my question is: Has anyone fed their RBTA a diet of krill before?

Don't have any pics of the carpet yet. It has decided to nestle in the sand next to the side wall. So far its has not been too aggressive, but I'm keeping an eye on it as my cleaner shrimp have become rather fond of picking any left over food from the feeding frenzy that drops onto it.

GREAT! Was worried that it wouldn't be happy 'n' healthy if just fed on krill. I got this one back in the spring and was worried because it hasn't really grown. Thought maybe it wasn't being fed properly. I do give it a few mysis here and there, but try not to over do it:)

Back when I had BTAs, I fed them krill for the last year that I had it, and it did just great. I stopped using sliversides after feeding them to a malu anemone on night and to have it dead in the AM. So for the last 2 years or so I have only feed krill --- right now I only have Haddonis and an LTA.

I have raised many BTAs on krill. I have had some that stopped feeding on krill and were switched to squid. Try and mix it up a little bit and alternate between different meaty seafoods.
