RBTA problem

Bought a RBTA about a week ago. It immediately attached itself to a rock and hasn't moved since. Problem is, it has stayed completely deflated. My water params, flow and light are all excellent. How long can acclimation take? A week seems a bit long?

What lights was it under when you bought it? If your sig is correct, you have a lot of light, which could be a factor in this if you didn't acclimate it to those lights.

how did you acclimate it to your tank?
About 1-1/2 hour drip.

It didn't come from a MH tank. I found that out the second day and it has been shaded since. Can the bright light on the first day be the problem. If so the question becomes, how to I tell if it's a goner? If not, how long can it remain collapsed?

How are you shading it? I really wouldn't think that one day would have this much of an effect, but this is a huge jump in light. Just to get rid of somethings, what are the actual numbers for your water parameters ?

Is the mouth still tightly closed? A weeks seems a bit too long to be closed, but it is usually pretty apparent when they are goners. Any chance of getting a picture of it?

Yes, mouth is completely closed. Here's a pic. Can't really see the mouth, but it is closed.

The numbers look good, thanks. How new is the tank, those rocks look pretty white.

Where the tentacles that short when you got it? From that picture it looks like they were either damaged or that it is starving. Have you tried feeding it?

Also, might want to add another layer of screening. I recently acclimated an LTA from PCs, to 250 DE MH, and used 3 layers.

Tank is pretty new - two months. Tentacles were 3-4" at the LFS. Haven't tried feeding it. What would you suggest - Mysis?
