RBTA Problems

i have had this rbta for over a month and a half and my tank has been up for over 6 months now. every thing has been great until recently. i noticed this white stringy stuff in some of the tentacles for the past week. it does not stay in the same tentacles for over 24 hours and now it looks as if his underside is hanging down. he also deflates about every day an hour or two before the lights go out and then re-inflates about an hour after lights out. he also stays more compact he use to be 6 inches. my sg was at 1.028 due to the salty water that i was getting ant my lfs. i recently brought it down. i use to feed silversides but stopped after reading some problems they have caused.

what is causing this?

My RBTA sometimes looks like that, just make sure you keep up with your routine on water changes and feedings and everything should be ok.

well it looks like my anemone just split. the pic that i thought was just the under side was his foot.
do they act weird before they split?
or was this split caused from stress?
what should i do as far as feeding and care?
