OK So let me give you the history, I have a 20 Gal High Reef Set Up about 8 mo. already, Everything has been Fine, and Growing Beautifully, I have gotten Coralline Growth on Glass and Whatnot...
OK 2 Weeks ago I got a RBTA, I put it in my tank. I went on vacation and the problems started. I left my brother in charge.
So lets begin, the day after I left, the anemone moved from where I put it, stung my candy canes and other stuff. It moved and moved for 2 weeks, I come back to find my tank with GHA starting to grow, My macro algae grew somewhat, Nitrates and Nitrites and Ammonia are low. I also found that about 4 gallons of water evaporated, So I freaked out, I topped it off and then did a 5 gallon water change the next day. My water has been cloudy since I returned, the anemone looks small, has brown slime coming out of its mouth. has not moved in 2 days. I'm worried, Will it die? What can I do to help it recover, I tried feeding it but it wouldn't grab on to the food... What can be making my tank cloudy? I changed filter media and carbon, one ricordia did die, i took out what was left of it. My mushrooms have mouths wide open too..
This is what I have in the tank:
Fish:
2 Ocellaris Clowns
1 Orange Firefish
1 Yellow Clown Goby
Inverts/Corals:
RBTA
Crocea Clam ( unattached its foot from rock and topples over)
Candy Canes (Mouths Open)
Various Shrooms ( some mouths open, others look wrinkly and Old)
Zoas ( all Fine Except Purple Death Palys. They look Bleached)
Birsdnest Coral ( Looks fine but some GHA got on a branch, now it looks rotten)
Monti Digita ( Fine)
Purple Acro ( Bleaching)
GSP ( Fine)
I have a 250W 20K Mh fixture over it for lighting.
Seaclone 100 Protein Skimmer
Marineland Penguin 200 Filter, Cleaned out yesterday
Thanks beforehand
