Are they really that dangerous to other corals? I have seen tons of display tanks where the anemones are in extremely close proximity to other corals but yet I never see any damage to the surrounding corals. In my mind if they come into contact with anything even for a second it dies, is this true?
 
They will definitely sting the coral. I had a small part of one of my sps colonies get hit by a nem for a little while and it started to die. So keep an eye on your nem and make sure he doesnt do the same to yours. If he settles in a place you dont like change the flow a little bit and he will most likely move.
