I have a 120 Sapphire glass BB reef tank I do not have any anemones. I do have a Maroon Clown who is hosted by a Elephant ear mushroom and a open brain coral. I was wondering if add a RBTA would work for me I am afraid of it roaming and killing either corals or will it catch some of my fish or cleaner shrimp. Can someone give me some advice on what to do to get them acclimated to a spot that is more of my choice if possible. Any other hints in rearing them will also be helpful

You should be find. RBTAs do roam around alot but it will settle down after a while. They are also very easy to keep. It will not eat your fish or shrimp though they possibly could if only the fish are very sick. It is not your choice or where they stay, its theres, they will keep on moving until they find a good spot. As far as lighting, what do you have?

over my tank I have 2 250w 14000 degree pendants on for 7 hours a day I also have 4 15 watt LCD equivalent to 100W output each 2 are 14,000 degree and 2 are 470 blue they are on 2 hours before during and after the main lights hours a day

Sounds like there is still plenty of room in your 120. Plus, BTA stings are pretty weak as far as anemones go...

No guarantees but if you have a section of LR with a roundish hollow or crevice facing upwards, this is the type of foothold BTAs prefer. It may stay or it may roam. I've been fortunate in that regard, my GBTA has pretty much stayed where I placed it since day one. It did move under the rock at one point, out of the light so I was obliged to turn the entire rock since I wasn't able to get the nem to move. That was over a year ago and it's still in place, in a natural hollow on the rock.

BTAs are natural host anemones to Maroon clowns so that should work well for you. I have a Maroon pair that call my BTA home.
