Just out of curiosity is this a normal thing?? My friends rbta split and its got like short tentacles compared to how it was before. How long will it take for it to return to the long ones?

They are very individual animals and no one currently knows why they change their tentacles shape from long to short or bubbled to not. There are many theories floating out there but only that, theories.
I have 6 and they are all different, and they all started from the same one lol.
It is pretty easy to tell a healthy BTA from an unhealthy one and that is honestly all I worry about. Keep them in good params and out of my fans =D

For the longest time mine had nice long bubble tips. Then I got a different pump and changed the flow a little and now its tentacles are long and stringy. Who knows , maybe one day it will go back to bubble tips. So I do know that a change in current will make them change shapes.
