My first rbta that I got about 6 months ago finally split yesterday... Is there anything special I should do? Here's a pic before the split

Not at all as long as it did not split dew to bad or stressful conditions. Just check your water parameters and do not feed until fully healed. What a sweet bbl tip nice job and stay on top of water changes....

Yea it's really pretty a lot of my friends have been on top of me about it since I got it for a baby. It may be considered a "rainbow" but not sure. When actinics are on it's gorgeous my iphone does it no justice. Wondering how much to charge..

Mine was attached to two rocks and I accidentally ripped it in two.
Both halves survived and are doing well.
They are pretty tough.

Nothing just except you have to watch two of them they usually stay close together because if they split they are happy and like the spot they are in but every now and then one will move away from the other

Yea they already separated a bit and I think the main piece is splitting again... They managed to destroy all my brown pulsing Xenia in the process...

True story: I was on tour for 6 months. Obviously my wife did not want to bother me with tank stuff the few times we spoke. I come back home and check out my tank. From 1 anemone I had 12. They were huge and all over the tank. To say my clowns were happy it would be an understatement. Everything else in the tank was killed off. Let's just say my wife did not take care of the tank much during the 6 months. Hope this helps.

I had my RBTA split 10 times so far. I just let them heal on their own with no other care. I usually try to keep the new ones from establishing themselves on a rock so I can sell or trade them to someone locally.
