rbta split, HELP!

My rbta split, which is really cool, I've only had it for a week.
My problem is the clone. Its really looking in bad shape, its shriveled and small, I actually found it sitting half in and half out of some rubble.
Does anyone with any experience with this have any suggestions? placement? light? flow? isolation? The sooner the better, thanks.

dont change any display tank conditions, dont feed for a few weeks (until you can definitely see a mouth!).

you may want to do small water changes, or just run some carbon to help clear the water.

carbon>>>water change

thanks. ok, no drastic changes, its actually about time for a water change as I have a fresh batch mixing right now. So ok, run some carbon in my phosban reactor, and small water changes? can do....thanks alot!

I just noticed the mouth discus, yea, neither of them have actual defined mouths anymore, so I guess they're both looking kinda rough. The clone looks worse than the original. lots of stringy white stuff, it tries to lay over and cover. I have the clone in a small basket with rock in it to attach too.

Leave them alone, they are recovering from the split. Each of them needs to develop their own mouth. It will take a few days, they will be ok.
