RBTA splits after 3 weeks

I purchased a RBTA from Live Aquaria about 3 weeks ago. It looked normal for the first week or so and then started hiding and shriveling up. I thought it was dying until I peeked in the tank today and saw this:

Look very bleached to me. Splitting can be a sign of stress, especially since they look pretty small
