I got my RBTA on Saturday and put him in . He stayed around the same spot until today . He was up high in the rocks underneath the overflow ... Getting low/medium flow . This morning I found him underneath my powerhead . His base is touching the back and the side glass . Is he splitting ? Can I get him off the glass ?

He's more than likely looking for a good place to stay. I wouldn't say he's splitting as of yet. You can get him off the glass, but I'd recommend letting him do his thing.

BTA's don't like a lot of flow. Medium flow at best (in my experience). I've had one who stayed where he was even though he was getting blasted in the mouth with flow. Think he knew the food was coming from there everytime I fed them, but anyway, like I said before, He's going to move to a spot that he enjoys and hopefully stay there. As posted in your other post in the Reef Discussion. Cover up the Powerhead or turn it off so he doesn't get shredded.
