RBTA stuck in korilia power head

My 3 inch base anemone has its foot stuck between the narrow bars on the circulation pump. Hes a bit chewed up. As of now its turned off, deciding if I should cut the pump to free it or leave him be still, its been 26 hours.

Get it out of the any way you can, and move it to a hospital tank. A dead btw could harm your other livestock. Got a pic?

Take the head off and seperate it. It needs to heal.

You could cut the pump but I would be more worried about bending/pinching it and causing more harm.

It is trying to heal, hopefully not around the power head.

Sorry to hear your story. We have a long tentacle red anemone that got caught up in our blower. I thought that I could only have such luck. It trimmed some of the tentacles, but today looks 85% of it's old self. Maybe your's will be ok once it's free. I have never had any luck doctering an Anemone. I believe they are better at healing than we are doctering. Good Luck.

I ended up cutting the plasic screen to free it, doesn't look good. Can see the dark insides of it. Moved to a hospital tank.

Sorry to hear that. It happen to mine once and the rbta made it and heal but it happen a second time a month later and it didn't make it the second time

After the first time, you didn't put foam guards on your powerhead?
