Jesse, I am assuming that all your nems are gone but if you still have one that you want to get rid of I might be interested. I just set up a 5.5 gallon for my clownfish. I will be doing high percentage water changes on it. My biggest concern for the nem would be if my light is adequate. Its just a fixture with one of those screw in high efficiency bulbs, you know, the curlique shaped ones. Its only 7" off the top of the tank but I doubt there is much spectrum to those bulbs. I could feed the tank pretty heavy though since I can do big WCs on it. What do you think?

Do you think a nem can live using just a regular high efficiency bulb?

I really wouldn't think so, but I'm going with one of thee off Ebay for my 5gal in my office.

Has 6 3watt LEDs. Only 18 bucks.

Thanks Jesse, but I already installed my light on the wall, so I think I will pass on the nem. I don't want to kill a creature needlessly. My original plan was to make it a macro algae tank with a couple low light coral, so I will just stick to that.

Jesse, the one you gave me never got comfortable and kept moving and then kinda shrunk to nothing. Weird. Everything else is doing great. Just took my Radion X30 from 70% to 85% to see if that will stimulate any growth on my SPS corals - they look good, but are no longer growing.

Go ahead Jesse- give it away to someone else. I cant figure out why mine didn't make it. I do my auto top off with kalk water - but just tested my Alk with my Hanna checker= it is really low, like 85 PPM, then looked and the reagent is expired by a year. SO, no idea what my ALk actually be too high. Ahhh the wonders of reefing. At least my PH ( 8.0- 8.2)and my Mg (1400) is good. So, thinking the ALK reagent is the issue and it is probably fine or my PH would be off. I am not making it over to you today Jesse. I have a regular cooler -which will have to do for the swap. Thanks for the offer.
