RBTA up on the glass

Sorry feta, bait picked it up. Be ready. Next mover is your's. Don't worry Jamie, I still see at least 12.

Jesse - thanks for the nem! I acclimated it quickly and placed it in the rockwork. Foot grabbed hold immediately and he stayed put all night. Tank lights were out when i got home from bowling last night so I'll take some pics and share this afternoon.

seems happy today :) thanks again!

Jesse, it's Kevin from over in Russellton. Haven't been around in a while. I would be very interested in getting one or two RBTA from you for my snowcassos. What salinity are you running?

Thanks,
Kevin

Let's call that whole trademarked fish name "Overly white where there should be orange, mutated, yet cute" clown fish.

Hey Kevin!! How's it goin? Let me see what happens this week. I know I keep sayin there's 12 in the tank. Just counted 12 again. Some are pretty big so there seems to be some splittin goin on. SG was 1.026 last time I checked, which was quite a while ago.

Thanks Jesse. I'll reply with mine that way you can just call or text me if any become available.been busy with life, and other hobbies. That coupled with slow work has had my tank on idle for some time.

Hi Dawn. Never really got out of it just distracted. Lost my coral to a failed return pump that the house sitter didn't catch while on vacation so I let it run as a fish with live rock tank for a couple of years. Now that I almost have all the remodeling done on the house that we're moving to I'm thinking of downsizing to a mini reef with new LEDS and a different sump.

I understand. I downsized from my 90g to a 36g bowfront. I like the smaller water
changes, or at least I did until I got seahorses. I redid my sump system and moved it to the basement. Now I fill a brute can with RO/DI, roll it on a brute dolly to the sump, mix my salt and pump freshly made seawater right into the sump. There is a drain near the sump so removal is as easy too, just syphon in to the drain.
If you are interested in macro algae at all I have some you can have for free.

Thanks Dawn, I'll probably take you up on the macro.

The seahorse tank looks GREAT!!!!!

Has anyone been keeping any of Jesse's RBTA offspring under LED lighting? With what success and feeding?

I tried, and I failed. Don't know if it was light source or what. I have radion x30.

Kevin, they are under250 halides now. They are all at the top of the tank which has been too much for most sps I've had. The sps tended to do better halfway down. I would think LED's would be fine. I never fed them They would pick up some when feeding the fish, but they only get fed a couple times a week.
I think the next free weekend day I get, I'm gonna try to get them all out, so be ready. I've got to give you a couple, I still owe you.
