My original RBTA stayed behind a rock for a month and when i turned it around it was eating it's tentacles. I'm pretty sure it's foot was damaged while the LFS was removing it from their tank. My friend has about 14 nems that started from one so he offered to trade my sick nem for one of his established, healthy RBTA's.
I am very happy with this nem, it is doing great in my tank! It did move off it's rock, but found a great new spot. Anyway, a couple of it's tentacles are deformed. Maybe from when it originally split? They don't cause it any problems, i'm just curious if they will eventually straighten out or if it's just the way they are. Here it is:
It is a lot rosier in person. You can see the tentacles in question at about 6 o'clock.
