Rbta?

I also have some baby anemones that are only pencil eraser size, the tentacles are just starting to show (come out) on them. Will try to get a picture really fast and post.

ok so here are some other pictures. Here is the whole tank, it is a 24 gallon aquapod. You can see the ane's in question on the top right (I am also thinking of switching these to one of my other tanks with MH)
And the baby ane is on the right toward the bottom

the small one looks like mojano looking at those int the tank they all look like mojano i think i was wrong my buddy has small BTA but not that small

Yeah, I've had mine for years now. As long as they don't(haven't) harm my corals or fishes, I like em and they fill in spots that sometimes can be barren. granted, they are considered a pest to most and should be "juiced" if you don't want them. They actually live on the same frag rock my SPS is on and they keep a distance from it...maybe a different version or potency on mine in comparison...they live amongst my corals and really don't harm any of them.

well I will just keep feeding them and see what happens. They were on some rock that we bought from another member, and we actually picked out the pieces from his tank. He didn't have a bunch of other anemones in his tank though. I don't know I would hate to get rid of them never knowing for sure.

I can see based off pictures where the baby one is a mojano...but can anyone say for sure that the one that just split is not a BTA.

My uneducated guess is that they are majano 'nems as well. We have a couple of the "tulip" type ones in our 75g that came in with some zoa's, they are kinda pretty and haven't spread in 2 years time that we can see. Sort of like aiptasia, if your tank params are good and you aren't overfeeding, they can be kept in check. Majano don't spread as quickly as aiptasia from what I understand, as well.

They are definetely mojano, I have them in my tank and they spread like wildfire and are almost impossible to kill. I would get that rock out ASAP before they are everywhere.

They have been in the tank now for at least 3 or 4 months now, and it was only last week when the split occurred with the larger one. There are two smaller ones that have been in there just as long. With the two smaller ones, they are very low in the tank which to me seemed a little unusual if they are indeed mojanos. From much of what I was able to find about the mojanos, they really like to stay up towards the top nearest the light, multiply quickly, and spread all over. These have always stayed within a few inches of their original location in our tank. The larger one was originally much lower in the tank but on the same rock; and after we moved, thats where I put that rock and the anemone hasn't moved more than a half an inch before the split occurred. The two smaller ones haven't grown hardly at all since they entered the tank and have stayed really low and close to the same areas. All three were put in there at the same time, so I know that the smaller didn't come from the larger (at least not while in our tank).
I do agree that if the larger ones are BTAs, they are much smaller than any that I have normally seen. They are bigger than nickle size though, maybe a little bigger than a quarter.
I question whether they are BTAs due to the size, but I question whether or not they are mojanos due to the fact they really dont seem to match up to much of what I have been able to find about mojanos.
