Re-Pairing a 5yr old Saddle back clown will male turn female and still grow?

How big is your female? These clowns are great, wish my bros didnt go jumping the tank.

The female is about 3.5 in and male 2.5

So heres the news, last friday I bought a small juvi, it still has the yellow on its fins and face, compared to the bigger and older one I have. The older one has a dull kind of yellow on its face but doesn't have the yellow fins. Its been 5 days so far the older one that has been in the tank for 5yrs seems to ignore the new commer. I only seen the bigger one chase the little new juvi like once, and I have yet to see them put on that dance. My bro said even when he got his pair when they were juvi's they were still doing that dance.
So how long will it take for them to pair up? Or does the little juvi have to mature alittle more before it tries to fight for domance and submit to the older clown?
How do I know when they are fully paired? At the moment the little one tries to swim with the bigger one but the bigger one ignores it.
I would appreciate as much info as possible, so far it doesn't look like they even want to pair.
