Re scaping the corals in my tank ?s

Ok so I want to move hammers, torches and my frog spawn to the middle sections like other rfc people have stated in some of my other threads. Here my question what is the best way to affix it to the rock if in the future i want to frag the heads of it. coral glue I.E. super glue gel or what are your suggestions.

I use both epoxy and superglue gel for larger branched lps.. A wad of epoxy gets a wad of super glue gel and is pressed onto the rock . My finger makes a crater in the epoxy to fit the coral skeleton . Another wad of superglue gel goes in the crater and then the coral goes in . The crater is pushed into the coral from the sides.

I find it useful to place the rock I'm using as a base without the coral to avoid too much fumbling around with the live animal. Once I'm sure the placement is what I wan't and sturdy, the rock comes out; the coral is added and then it goes smoothly back into place.

I've also zip-tied euphyllia to rocks for quasi-permanent placement. I don't endorse it above epoxy or glue, but it makes it very easy to clip the ziptie and remove the piece.

i recommend taking the rock out, and "superglue-gelling" the euphyllia to the rock OUTSIDE of the tank. once the glue cures, if you did it right, should never fall out.

i find over time epoxy gets weak, starts to crack, and then bam its broken. also gobs of epoxy in my opinion is tacky looking and a plain eyesore, even after it becomes encrusted with algae. if you decide to use epoxy, get a piece of rubble, and make impressions in the epoxy with it (like a stamp) to make the shape of the epoxy more natural.

the only downside to using superglue gel is , you need a LOT of it for larger corals and i mean a LOT. could get kinda costly

Ok side note There Is not a chance in hell I can move the base rocks its gonna be affixed to so another question is what then if I move them out of the tank i am looking at hours of rescaping. As in my other threads you can see pictures of my bridge work but they inter lock so umm I might cry if i have to remove something like a column rock.
