RE: Sea Snake Anemone

I know alot of people have never heard of one, they are very rare in the trade. Pics to come I swear....I just got back into town this morning and when I looked in my tank..the Anemone had sunk into the Substract.....this is my first Anemone and I have no idea if they do this on purpose? Does anyone know why an anemone would bury it self under the sand? I will get pics for you soon....Basically looks just like any anemone but it's all blackish dark purple with a white mouth, it has a foot and tentacles....

this thread is worthless without pics ;)

I agree GSMguy, I will get someones camera tonight and take some pics.......ok to recap from last night.....and Nope is not a snakelocks Anemone, I have never seen of heard of this type before (Sea Snake Anemone) I can't even do a goole search on it......Apparently it hides underneath the sand at night and only comes out when the lights are on....it's crazy I tell you.....

I'm very interested to see it...it sounds like it behaves a lot like a Tube Anemone, but without building the tube.
