Reactor manifold off return pump: Will this work?

After fussing around with the pipe going up to the top I figure, why hard plumb the back. Just plumb a hose barb out the sump and connect in the middle on top of the tank.

Really looking at the SQWD "1 for alternating current. I'm just so torn on the reviews.

Here is what I put together.It was not finished at the time of the picture but it will give you a idea. It runs from a 150 gallon rubber maid and feeds this frag tank with my reactors. I am not sure if it will help with your ideas. Doing it this way you have control of everything and if you need to take some thing off line you just shut the valve. Good luck on your set up
