Ready, set…water! 90gal peninsula build

Looking good, love your hippo. They're the most interesting/social or high personality fish I think I've ever had

Just started Phyto and Zoo plankton live culture using PhytoTank system. I couldn’t stop myself and took some pictures in the lab where I work :)
phytoplankton was imaged with 40x objective and pods with 20x

that is cool. I've become friends with a local aquaculturist is doing fantastic work with corals and she tells me she only feeds her tanks live food. no reef roids, AB+, or anything like that. just phyto and pods she cultures herself.

Beautiful reef, beautiful blue hippo tang. It looks like a little blue gem swimming around in the water. It looks very happy. Are you going to get a mandarin dragonet to eat up those copepods or is it just for the benefits of microfauna?

My guests are growing…same slowly some fast, but I am happy with the results so far, its 11 months old this tank, what do you think? Suggestions?
