Ready to buy! Suggestions?

I'd go for the fluorescent compact, especially if you're just going to stick with softies for now. You can put the money into getting those inverts! The only difference I see, is that one is JBJ, the other's generic. LED one also has a protein skimmer, but you can get one cheaper off the net that will most likely fit the tank. Additionally, if you can get it off of DFS, then go ahead and buy some Base Rock (10 lbs), and 10 lbs of dead sand, since your LFS is charging an arm and a leg for so much live rock and sand.

Yes! i have 10lbs of rock in the cart, as well as the live sand in there.

Both those tanks are the same the LED is just the newer version. :) So its weither the LED or the fluorescent would be best.
I was thinking of getting the coralife nano skimmer, this way it can fit in the back panel of this cube! All nicely hidden apart from the powerhead!

Is there anything else i should add to my cart from DFS? I have the salt, sand, rock, tank, Skimmer, and heater. Were there any additives for the water i need (i am using store bought RO water), or dosing nutrients?

And still go with the reef salt, or just the regular IO salt?

The coralife skimmer is junk, you'll go through more limewood airstones then the skimmer is worth.

To start with, just water changes for a while will replenish your trace elements, no need for dosing anything. I'm nearly a year into my tank and its HEAVILY stocked with LPS corals and I just started dosing within the last week or so. Regular water changes with a good reef salt more then likely is all you need in a tank that small.

If you want to keep corals, I would go with reef crystals and not regular IO.
