Ready to go fishing

well almost anyway.
I have to change the fuel tank on the boat. to do that I had to split the boat in half or cut the deck. I like to do things the hard way so I split the boat.
To do this I had to build somthing to pull the top half up with.

And here is the problem tank.

I am charging the battery in the sawzall so I figured Id share come pics.

I got the tank out. I might take you up on that when the new tank gets here. I'm going with a polyethylene tank . After all this work I plan on keeping this boat for awile.
I also took off the bow rail attaching parts that were made with that pot metal to be replaced with stainless steel. Same with the galvanized cleats.

no, thanks any way. it looks like I'm on hold till monday. the tank was to be shipped yesterday to be delivered on Friday. I got the email today that it was shipped out today. I have no luck when it comes to buying things long distance.
Gives me time to work on your backwall when ever your ready.
