Snails above the common size are immensely strong, when it comes to specimens glued or puttied to rocks.
I say this having 5 super-snails in my sump and having had them pop specimens right off the rocks, one of which is going to require some rock-moving to rescue. Ordinarily I place things by jamming them in under some rock for weight and that suffices, especially when I'm 'trying out' the light level. After the first catastrophe, I glued them in place. And that was no good with these muscle-bound mollusks. So the snails are in the sump and I've got a specimen rock to rescue. In the back, of course.
