Reasonable price for Ricordea?

My lfs has a small 2 polyp rock with 2 red inner ring, blue outer ring, green mouthed rics. Is $35 a good price?

I tend to pay approx $15 per polyps if they're floating loose or small polyps, and fairly common colouring.

you pay more for the more unusual polyps. but $35 sounds faily reasonable.

you can pay anywhere from 10 for plain single colors like green, 20 for brighter singles and go up from there for rainbows and tricolors gets a alittle cheaper the more you buy. Then it can get really crazy if you have nice rocks wioth different colors on the rock making designs up in the 1,000-5,000 range. So 35 is a great price especially if your not paying any shipping.

thats crazy price, lfs near me in st. louis MO. has online store and sells ricordea wordwide i was there other day to hand pick my own and he had probally a thousand rics great prices.

his website
gatewayaquatics.com
and his zoos and palys
zomania.com

The local store i go to has ones that range from 20-75. depending on the color/rarity and current stock. i usually try and pick up new ones when they are having a sale or i buy 4-5 at a time and get a reduced rate since i bought more.

glad i live in st. louis area we have 12 pet stores with saltwater fish and coral and 7 of them strictly saltwater but only corals outrageous on price around here are acans and other rare lps. thanks to our local reef club we can get most coral frags from each other really cheap or for free we practice trading coral for coral or just free.
