Hi All,
I just got my first MH set up and have a question. I plan on hanging the pendants from the ceiling soon which may solve my problem but...here is the issue. I have put a couple of sheets of tempered glass over my tank in order to get my lights going. I realize that this puts them real close to the water so I have put a fan next to the tank and it seems to work. When I get home at the end of the day, one of the bulbs has dimmed in comparison to the next (real dim like when first starting up). These bulbs are only a month or two old so shouldn't dim like that yet? They both fire up nicely before I leave for the day. Could it be over heating? They are XM 10k bulbs powered by a Cool touch magnetic ballast. The guy I bought them from had never had problems and the whole system is not that old. Thanks for any input.
